What can I find at the Co-op?

The everyday essentials . . .

Rice, flour, bread, dried fruit, nuts, muesli, breakfast cereals, pasta, milk, free-range eggs, cold pressed oils, honey, and peanut-butter. All organic or biodynamic wherever possible.

Fresh produce . . . Fresh fruit and vegetables are delivered to the Co-op on Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoons, with a diverse selection of certified organic fruit and vegetables usually available.

Especially for vegetarians . . . Tofu and tempeh , vegetarian and vegan cheeses, soya burgers, lentils, and beans.

For special dietary needs . . . Wheat-free bread, wheat-free pasta, soya milks and cheeses, goat's yogurt and goat's milk, and sulphur-free dried fruits. Plus a wide range of different grains and flours.

For macrobiotics . . . Seaweeds such as wakame, nori and arame, misos, shitake, kuzu, soba, tamari, shoyu and more.

Local produce . . . Locally grown chemical-free eggs, and fruit and vegetables.

For the environment . . . Phosphate free powder for washing-machines and dishwashers, plus phosphate-free washing-up liquid and laundry liquid. Bottles and jars for recycling.

For your body . . . Hand-made soaps made from genuine vegetable oils. Shampoos, conditioners, deodorants, and natural body products. Healing creams, aloe vera gels, and homoeopathic ointments.

For gifts and special occasions . . . Hand-made candles, essential oils and recipe books. Mortars and pestles, sushi mats and Community Aid Abroad products.
